🍮 Flan is one of those typical elaborations of these dates that have most withstood the passage of time.
It is believed that its history dates back to before Christ, when the Romans began to domesticate chickens and began to introduce the egg in their recipes. If all this teaches us anything, it is that traditional no matter how simple it is, it always succeeds! 😋
INGREDIENTS:
2 eggs, 150 grams of whole milk, 12 tablespoons of condensed milk, 10 grams of grated sheep's cheese.
Optional: liquid caramel: 100 gr sugar, 20 gr water.
STEPS:
This will be one of those recipes that will save you from that dinner that you did not remember about dessert or came to
home with a sweet tooth.
EXTRA RECIPE: QUINCE SWEET EGG FLAN, WALNUTS AND MOSCATEL WINE
We follow the previous recipe but as a final touch we place some dices of quince paste around the flan. Then we have the walnuts on top of the flan.
Finally, we wet the flan with a splash of muscatel wine, leaving us a delicious sauce.
